This next installment in this series on how to edit videos like a pro in iMovie focuses on adding text and titles. If you’ve struggled with making your titles look right, dig in.
There really isn’t that much mystery in adding titles. The difficulty comes in making it look right. iMovie’s simplicity makes it easy to get all their stock animations. Just grab on of their titles and drag it into the timeline where you want it.
There is a lot of power in this simplicity. You can further edit your text within the “Show Fonts” menu at the bottom of the fonts tab. In that gear button, you can change kerning, typefaces, size, style and even grab emoticons.
